A Welsh mahogany longcase clock of good quality with choice flame mahogany veneers. Twisted hood and trunk columns with corinthium capitals. Marquetry inlays to the case. An attractive arched painted dial with Victorian follys to the corners and a mandalin player to the arch. A date and seconds indicator. An 8-day movement striking the hours on a bell.

Pen-y-darran, near Merthyr Tydfil is best known for it's Ironworks in the 19th century.
